About PDI

PDI APPAREL started out as a Marin County-based custom screen printing shop located in Novato, California. Less than three years after opening, PDI APPAREL has opened a second location in Fort Myers, Florida. We are proud to provide services to a wide variety of customers, specializing in custom School Spirit Wear, Summer Camp t-shirts, Athletic Uniform Printing, Art and Wine Festival t-shirts, Lifeguard apparel, custom Band Merchandise and much more. We offer great and unique design ideas and are also happy to receive art files provided by the customer as well. PDI Apparel offers free over-the-phone consultations 7 days a week and are happy to answer any questions you may have about t-shirt designs, garment options, pricing and more.

PDI APPAREL founder Michelle Paponetti graduated with a degree in Graphic Art from Purchase College in NY in 1995. In the following years, she spent her time working in the graphics field designing apparel, advertising, web design, logo design and print design. In the mid-1990s through the early 2000s, she worked as an artist for one of the world’s top advertising agencies, Saatchi & Saatchi NYC before venturing out to start her own agency, Paponetti Design Ink. This successful design agency specialized in print and advertising with a large part of the company’s focus based around band and artist promotion.

In 2010, PDI moved to the west coast, Marin County, California. After having designed over 100 unique band merchandise items for artists such as Huey Lewis and the News, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes and Gary U.S. Bonds, along with hundreds of t-shirt and garment designs for various other clients, PDI decided to launch PDI APPAREL in 2011. In February of 2014, they opened up a second location in Fort Myers, Florida.

Since the inception of PDI APPAREL, Michelle has had the good fortune of being able to maintain the clientele she has spent the past 18 years building relationships with, from the East Coast to the West. She continues to maintain a daily hands-on approach to her work and her relationship with each customer, offering personally designed solutions to each individual’s needs based on her 18 years of design and apparel experience.
